Welcome to The Lantern Herbarium

Not every traveler arrives here by accident. Some come searching for a remedy. Others simply notice a lantern still burning where the forest begins. However, when they arrive, they are welcomed inside. The Lantern Herbarium is a small botanical apothecary inspired by old field journals, forgotten forest paths, and the quiet traditions of herbalism. Here, every herb is carefully studied, every preparation is crafted in small batches, and every page added to the archive preserves knowledge that might otherwise be forgotten. The Herbarium is watched over by four Keepers, each caring for a different part of the archive. The Keeper records each remedy and botanical discovery. The Hearth Keeper tends warmth, comfort, and rest. The Woodsman gathers from the edge of the forest and watches over well-traveled paths. Beyond the lanterns' reach, the Hollow One quietly guards the forgotten places, ensuring that some things remain undisturbed. We grow and responsibly gather many of our botanicals here in interior Alaska, choosing thoughtful ingredients and slow traditional methods to create remedies, teas, syrups, oils, balms, and seasonal goods inspired by the changing woods around us. Every bottle, pressed leaf, handwritten note, and a parcel that leaves the Herbarium becomes another page in its story. Thank you for helping keep the lantern burning.
